The Inn at East Beach is a hotel located near the East Beach in Santa Barbara, California. The hotel features a variety of comfortable guest rooms and suites, as well as a range of amenities to make guests feel at home.
As a front desk receptionist at our hotel located near the East Beach, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests as they arrive and checking them in or out of the hotel.
- Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and resolving guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Managing room reservations and ensuring that guests receive the rooms they have requested.
- Processing payments, handling cash, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
- Communicating with other hotel staff members to ensure that guests receive excellent service.
- Keeping the front desk area clean and organized, including the lobby and guest waiting areas.
- Providing guests with information about the hotel amenities, local attractions, and restaurants.
- Adhering to all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and customer service skills. You should be comfortable using basic computer programs and have experience using reservation systems. A positive and friendly demeanor is essential to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with morning and evening shifts available seven days a week. The starting salary for this position is $16.00 per hour.
