The position

As a Data and Automation Specialist, you will implement workflows on our LabDroid platform and ensure data flow and integrity. You will work closely with your colleagues, both in the LabDroid team and across the organization, on implementing methods, running experiments, and optimizing workflows. Furthermore, in close collaboration with our colleagues in IT and digitalisation, you will be responsible for the integration of our automation platform with the data registration systems. You will use scripting and other tools to adjust our IT platform to the needs of new projects.


Qualifications

To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

  • A degree within chemical engineering, biotechnology, life sciences or a related field
  • Sound experience within laboratory automation, including programming of liquid handlers
  • Hands-on experience with scripting in Python or C#. Knowledge of Java or .Net is an advantage
  • Experience with lab automation scheduling systems such as Cellario, Momentum or Overlord is a clear advantage

About the department

In Global Research Technologies we design, produce, and formulate compounds for Novo Nordisk´s research pipeline. In close collaboration with Global Drug Discovery and Digital Science & Innovation we are building LabDroid, a new, innovative laboratory automation platform for generation and characterization of our future drug candidates. You will become part of a young and engaged team that is implementing and supporting this platform.
