We are seeking to hire an experienced Receptionist to join the Effective Sales team.
A successful candidate will manage and maintain the reception area in a polite and friendly manner, be comfortable to multi-task and prioritize tasks without guidance.
We are looking for an individual with at least 2-3 years’ experience in reception and general administration.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12/ Matric
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong phone skills
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English (Afrikaans - advantage)
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Punctual with strong attendance history
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
- Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have
- Maintain reception, boardroom, and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a copy machine and a computer
- Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received
- Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail and emails
- Maintain the general office filing system
- Assist with credit applications
- Assist call center on order capturing from time to time
You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, be a team player and passionate about service delivery.
