What you will be doing:You will be part of the Engineering team and you be involved in the successful delivery of the company’s projects to Enterprise clients
More specifically you will:
Work collaboratively with different teams to administer the build out and support of OracleDB, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, and MySQL databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production system
Escalate to certain suppliers on customer’s behalf to try to resolve issues outside of our control, such as bug fix requests.
Communicate with the customer through formal correspondence
Ensure compliance with all technical specifications
Perform database health monitoring, exports, and imports
Organize and provide daily operations and checks
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation in support of production issues
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science preferred
Experience in DB Admin tasks in any Database preferably OracleDB, Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL
Flexibility to work in shifts
Ability to manage multiple competing tasks simultaneously and complete work within allocated timeframes
Team player with problem-solving skills
Ability to learn, adapt, communicate, and organize
Customer focused with attention to detail
Excellent communication and writing skills in English
It will be nice to have:
Experience in Sybase, and MySQL
Experience in SQL DDL, DML, and PL/SQL coding skills
