DESIGNATION : Production Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deployed at our Central Butchery (CB), you will be responsible for packing and arrangement of fish and seafood. You are also required to monitor and maintain freshness and quality of items, as well as perform housekeeping and ensure cleanliness of your work area in accordance with safety procedures and standards of hygiene.

  • Follow disciplinary policies, rules and regulations.
  • Able to work in the chilled and frozen condition.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Decoration and Display
  • Understand various size of fish and seafood
  • Check product quality and specification
  • Displaying of fish and seafood for packing
  • Packing
  • Understand different sizes of packaging trays
  • To pack variety of fish and seafood products
  • To comply with packaging standards
  • Pricing
  • Understand various type of fish and seafood name / code (PLU)
  • Operating the pricing / packing machine
  • Distribution
  • Prepare and arrange stock for distribution
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
  • Perform various cleaning activities in production area to maintain hygiene standards


QUALIFICATIONS
  • No experience required as training will be provided
  • Applicants who has prior experience in handling fish and seafood are preferred
  • Service-oriented, team player with ability to read and communicate in simple English
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in wet and cold environment as well as carry heavy loads
  • Physically fit and no injuries
  • Able to work on rotating shifts & 6 days/week (including weekends and public holidays)
  • WSQ Food Hygiene Course graduates and those with ESS WPLN Level 4 are welcome to apply

  • Work Location: Upper Thomson / Sunview Road
