Job Overview: As a UI/UX Product Designer at Barnksforte, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing digital products that deliver exceptional user experiences. Your work will span the entire design process, from conceptualization to final implementation, as you champion user-centered design principles and contribute to the evolution of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Product Designer
- Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
- Collaborate with the product team to define user personas and user journey maps.
UI/UX Design:
- Create mockups, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals.
- Design visually stunning user interfaces that adhere to brand guidelines and design principles.
- Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate and validate design concepts.
- Make unique graphic designs.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.
- Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to cross-functional teams.
Usability Testing:
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and validate design decisions.
- Iteratively refine designs based on user feedback and usability test results.
Design System and Consistency:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system.
- Ensure consistent application of design elements across different products and platforms.
Stay Current:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
- Bring new and innovative design ideas to the team.
Soft Skills:
· Ability to work in a group or independently.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
· Time management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience (3 years) as a UI/UX designer, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with responsive and mobile design, as well as a deep understanding of cross-platform compatibility.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and iterate designs accordingly.
- Basic understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.) is a plus.

Salary: ₦250,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
