About the job
As Grants Manager you work with the planning and follow-up of institutional grants. You are responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted and developed in accordance with the working methods, strategies, policies, and methods of Kvinna till Kvinna. You are responsible for ensuring that monitoring and reporting is in accordance with the contractual obligations.
This position will work 50% with the coordination of planning, monitoring and reporting of our global agreement with Sida Civsam, leading the programme development and compliance with donor conditions at global levell and 50% of the position will cover follow-up of grants at country and/or regional level.
The work with the global agreement is closely coordinated with Managers at the Programme and Development Department and the Finance Department, programme countries, grants managers and advisors.
You will be part of the Grants Management Unit at the Programme and Method Department and you work closely with the country and regional teams.
The monitoring of funding opportunities, development of project proposals and budget for potential donors based on input from the programme countries are also part of the responsibility as well as the development of analytical results reports and other deliverables, quality assurance, budget follow-up and the finalisation of agreements with partner organisations. In addition, you are expected to follow reporting in relevant geographic and thematic areas and actively engage in anti-corruption measures.
About you
To be able to work as a Grant Manager you should be responsible and accurate as well as strategic with an ability to prioritise. You need to have good time management to be able to meet deadlines. Coordination skills are of special importance.

Qualifications
- Minimum five years of relevant work experience from working with international development cooperation.
- Documented experience of planning, monitoring and reporting of Sida agreements.
- Knowledge of project/results management, and experience of budgeting and budget follow-up of development projects.
- Good knowledge and experience of the role of civil society in development work.
- Experience in identifying funding opportunities and documented experience in successful proposal and report writing to donors.
- Academic degree in relevant field such as political science, international relations, development studies, peace and conflict studies, gender studies, human rights, law or similar.
- Fluency in English
Merits
- Knowledge and experience of EU development cooperation and/or other institutional donors and foundations.
- Working experience from the programme countries from Kvinna till Kvinna.
- Knowledge of Swedish, Arabic and/or French.
- Experience in drafting and establishing cooperation agreements with local partners.
- Experience of handling corruption cases in complex contexts
Terms and conditions
This is a temporary full time position based in Stockholm. Kvinna till Kvinna has collective agreement (Tjänstemän Fremia, Unionen and Akademikerförbunden).
